An example is the implementation of automation systems in all fields. Automation system originally developed only on industrial world, but on this age various systems can be automated. One of the system that are developed are in our house, which we often hear as smart home. In designing this system based on Arduino, the user can control lamp on the living room, bedroom, and kitchen anytime and anywhere with using a smartphone. This smart home system can also automatically control lights on the terrace and roof. The system will turn the lights on when there are dark outside and turn it off if it is light outside. In addition, the system will also open the roof if the condition outside are clear and will close it if there are rain or nighttime. Smart Home system can inform the temperature inside the house and the lights condition to the users with average response time of 3,41 seconds. This system can also warn the user if there are a leakage of LPG and the movement of people from outside the house if the security mode is enabled} }
