The waste of fuel can not be avoided because travel time becomes longer. The traffic light setting is often impartial. Traffic becomes increasingly unfamiliar and as a result congestion becomes severe. The existing traffic lights are not on the side of the road with the number of vehicles. Automatic Traffic Light Design Based on Number of ATMega16 Microcontroller Based Vehicle Queue is expected to be a frequent congestion solution. This system works by using infrared sensors and photodiodes as a detection of the length of the queue of vehicles on the side of the highway. Microcontroller ATMega16 as the main brain work will set the color so that the green light will light up longer in accordance with the number of queues of vehicles.
