		abstract={Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) is one of the power plants that use renewable energy. This minithesis analyzed the damage of the generator in Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP). Environmental conditions in geothermal power plants was often regarded as a problem in the generator damaged. One of case, it was happened march 13, 2012 in geothermal power plant kamojang unit 1 that made generator out of order. The analysist would try to know why the generator damaged. Was there any relationship the air off a lot of sulfur and the generator damaged in kamojang geothermal power plant.The damage happened at rotor generator unit 1 and damage of winding rotor isolation. Was the damage caused by the condition of air containing sulfur in geothermal power plants. However, the fact was high vibration. This analysist is hoped to have the steps of improvement for the same damage in the future. As known, the damage in geothermal power plant which made higher cost of using gasoline, because using another power plant which is needed gasoline. So the cost of using gasoline would rise up.}
