It has 142MVA with power factor of 0.80. Generators at the power plant was screened through a prime mover in the form of gas or oil HSD. Operation of the generator should pay attention to the terminal voltage and reactive current supply, since the size depends on the magnetization current supplied reactive current. Excitation current has an important role in the operation of the generator. Generator in this unit use a static excitation system which uses the excitation current supply output of the generator itself and then lowered to the excitation transformer and then rectified through the AVR. In March 2015 the excitation system has a breakdown in this unit so that excitation transformer and rotor winding were on fire. This unit is scheduled to be redesigned excitation system to obtain better reliability. In designing an excitation systems we need to know the maximum limit of the performance of the generator, so the generator can be longer lifespan. The maximum limits can be seen from the capability curve.} }
