		abstract={Muara Karang Block I consisting of 3x90 MW gas power plant and 1x124 MW steam power plant. Muara Karang shall have consumer load, the consumer load surely change or fluctuate. Fluctuating consumer load is the load on household consumers. Fluctuating load changes affecting the efficiency of the plant it self. Fluctuating load causes the frequency change that required the governor to set the frequency. So Muara Karang must maintain its efficiency in order to remain in good working condition, because the poor efficiency will impact on fuel costs increases. In this final paper will be calculated fuel costs from the the influence of Muara karang PLTGU efficiency.}
