One disorder that often occurs is a short circuit. Short circuit interference can be symmetrical or asymmetrical short circuit. The number of possible types of disturbances that occur will slow down the recovery process that must be done after the interruption. This study provides an alternative to detect the type of short circuit noise on the transmission line, namely by adapting Fuzzy Logic with field data input in all the state of the system (normal and interference). The current is a sensitive parameter in the event of a disturbance, where the interrupted phase current will be greater than the normal phase current, so the current is used as a benchmark for determining the type of disturbance. This thesis uses a quantitative research method in which to express natural symptoms in the field through data collection. Fuzzy logic becomes an analysis of disturbances having a training structure and simplifying the classification process. This Fuzzy Logic uses the Mamdani method which is known as the Min-Max method, to determine the output in this method requires 4 stages, namely the formation of fuzzy set, fuzzyfication, composition of fuzzy rules and defuzzyfication. This thesis takes data on PT. PLN TJBTB APP Madiun with the results showing that the output with the result -625 is a collapsed tower, the -535 result is lightning, the -319 result is a snake, the -316 result is a foreign object BEGO, 421 results are normal conditions. Fuzzy Logic is able to identify specific disturbances through selection methods based on data input and Fuzzy rules.} }
