With the internet we can send a message (message) to other people by using e-mail, but not everyone reads the e-mails every day so there is likely to be delayed reply. On the basis of the then emerging messenger chat or instant messenger, or so-called chat, which is a networking technology that allows users to send messages in realtime to other users who are connected to a Local Area Network (LAN) or the Internet. This communication system design using base64 encryption methodology and literature study so as to obtain accurate data that can help researchers in designing this messenger application. Base64 is printed format using characters, allowing binary data to be transmitted in the form and email, and will be stored in a database or file From the results obtained after researchers successfully completing this
