The Thermal Power Plant is one of subjects that studied by students who undergoing education that concentrating in electricity sector. The usage of books and presentation/slide certainly good for learning thermal power plant. However, the subjects that contained in that learning media is still served in descriptive and static way. The technological developments that is also very widely used today by students is the use of Android smartphone. Besides from fulfilling the needs of communication, the Android smartphone can have another function as a media for improving knowledge. Thus, author try to implement the Augmented Reality technology on Thermal Power Plant Learning Module with Android base to ease student learning activities. This research uses Luther-Sutopo MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development method, because this method is suitable for learning media development. The stages of this development method are concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. This Augmented Reality application are developed with Unity3D, Vuforia, and 3DS Max to create thermal power plant 3D model. This application uses image target as marker to display the 3D model. This application shows the 3D models of the thermal power plant main components and show the the working principle of the thermal power plant, so this learning media can help students who have difficulty in studying thermal power plant.} }
