		abstract={The limitation of land especially in big city make the construction of high rise building growing rapidly. To optimize the limited land, the crowded and expensive area, hence the basement is constructed in the high rise building. In constructing basement, concerned the level of  water table and the usage of material for basement wall or retaining wall. Because if basement on the same level or under the water table so needed to decrease the ground water level which is known as dewatering. The purpose of this paper is to know and understand the relation between the cutting method and dewatering and how to plan the dewatering system also determine the amount of water pump required. According to the analysis  and the collected data for planning the the dewatering system is soil test data, pumping test data, the total of water debit, rain fall data and pump capacity. The required pump is 6 with capacity of each pump is 350 l/minutes.}
