		abstract={Lubuk Gadang Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) is a power plant managed by PT Selo Kencana Energi to increase electricity supply. The PLTMH is located in Teluk Air Putih Village, Sangir District, South Solok Regency by utilizing the Batang Sangir River. However, the generation system in the Lubuk Gadang MHP is not optimum because there are many factors that cause losses. The evaluation results show that the potential power that can be generated by the Lubuk Gadang MHP in theory is 4,673.809 kW with the water discharge used amounting to 16.94 m3 / s and the height of falling water is 48 m. In the calculation, the power capacity that can be generated by the generator is 4,108,394 kW. There is a difference between the power produced in theory is greater than the power produced when calculating the power produced by the generator. This happens because of losses in mechanical equipment and generators.}
