This occurs in the Balaraja IBT 1 & 2 subsystem consisting of 8 substations. The lowest voltage before the capacitor is installed is in the Serpong Substation, which is 135.23 kV. In connection with efforts to improve the voltage profile, PT. PLN (Persero) has installed capacitors at four substations with a total power capacity of 200 MVAR. In this study, we will look for other possibilities of location of capacitor placement so that the voltage profile obtained is better than before. Simulation of determining the location and capacity of installed capacitors using a power flow iteration Newton Raphson method with using the DIgSILENT PowerFactory 15.1. The results of the simulation are the installation of capacitors with a total capacity of 200 MVAR focused on three locations namely Serpong (100+50) MVAR, Citra Habitat 25 MVAR, Lengkong 25 MVAR can increase the voltage profile of the subsystem at peak load and voltage at Serpong substation to 147.45 kV.} }
