One of amongst all the resources is in Talabar Ulu. Talabar Ulu is a village in Talabar river which has the potential to generate electricity of 1,200 kW. Tabalar Subdistrict?s population is around 2,400 households, but only 800 households of the population enjoying the electricity from the National Electricity Company. It?s only 12 hours per day with a 300 kW diesel-powered diesel power plant (PLTD). The construction of the PLTM Tabalar is expected to be able to accomodate the energy mix target of 23% by 2025. So a deep study is needed, both from the operational and financial aspects. The results of this study indicated that based on the aspect of operation, the power generated by the Tabalar PLTM is 1,200 kW, the annual energy size is around 6.832.800 kWh, the drop voltage is 1,33% and the network shrinkage is 1,575%. As well as for the results of financial analysis, the construction of PLTM Tabalar is able to be implemented with NPV = Rp 62.385.856.231,-, IRR = 37,36%, BCR = 2,910, and PBP = 2 years 6 months.} }
