Usually the interference that often occurs is a short circuit which can cause damage to electrical equipment as well as losses to the electrical transmission system or to consumers as users of electrical energy. Protection system is a way to prevent and limit damage to equipment due to interference, for that to localize the disturbance a protection system is needed that meets the requirements including sensitivity, selectivity, fast and reliable which can all be obtained with the accuracy of the protection equipment settings. The protective equipment used is overcurrent relay (OCR) and ground disturbance current relay (GFR) which works to instruct the power breaker to open when interference occurs. The protection equipment installed must be coordinated in advance by determining the relay operation for each fault in the relay protection area. The analysis carried out aims to calculate the magnitude of the short circuit current, determine the protection relay settings and compare them with the existing relay settings in the field. By using quantitative methods, based on the calculation results obtained the largest short circuit current value in 3 phases is 12231,991 A and the largest short circuit current in 1 phase is 955,117 A. For the TMS setting value obtained from the calculation results for 20 kV feeder side OCR is 0.183, GFR the feeder side is 0.103 and the setting for the 20 kV incoming OCR is 0.189 and the 20 kV incoming GFR is 0.241. as a whole the data from the calculation results and the data available in the field is not much different.} }
