Loading on a distribution transformer that exceeds 80% of the transformer capacity can affect the age / life time of the distribution transformer and reduce the level of quality of service to consumers and potentially have a large disruption. For that we need an action so that the percentage of distribution transformer loading does not exceed the capacity of the transformer by means of installation of the substation. The research method in this paper uses quantitative methods. At PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Cikokol contained transformers that experienced overloading (overload) of 83.38% at the CPD 65 Substation and carried out the Installation of Substation as a method to overcome excessive loading (overload) that occurred at CPD 65 Substation. By installing Substation Insert, loading on CPD Substation becomes 49.23%. In this case, it can prove that the installation of Gradu Sisip is a good enough way to overcome the overloading problem in the CPD 65 Substation, so that it can extend the life / life time of the transformer, improve service quality to consumers and reduce the potential for interference due to the transformer below 80% can work optimally.} }
