An electric power system, especially a distribution system that is said to be reliable, can be seen from the operation of the electric power system, which rarely occurs power outages among consumers. However, we can see for ourselves that most distribution systems still frequently experience disturbances, both short circuit faults and other disturbances that are often found in the 20 Kv SKTM spindle network. When there is a disturbance, it is still often the location of the disturbance that is not immediately detected and results in a long power outage because it takes a long time to find out where the disturbance is and spends a lot of time getting the electricity back on. The solution to this problem is to install a tool called a GFD. GFD (Ground Fault Detector) is: A tool used to detect the presence of short circuit faults between phase to ground on SKTM 20 kV. In the research that has been done, it can be seen that the comparison between the total length of outage before the GFD is installed is much greater, namely 427 minutes when compared to the total length of outage after the GFD is installed of 224 minutes. The total unsold kWh before the GFD was installed could reach 23.504,36 kWh. Meanwhile, the unsold kWh after the GFD is installed will decrease to 11.601,273 kWh.. And for the total unsold rupiahs before the installation of GFD obtained around Rp 33.956.748,892 and the total unsold rupiahs after the installation of GFD decreased to Rp 16.760.359,103} }
