In this study, the Ziegler-Nichols method will determine the strengthening of the PID control system. This study aims to identify the results of the simulation of the AVR system without a controller, to determine various parameters of PID amplification for an AVR system, and to identify the simulation results of the AVR system with amplified PID control. This goal can be achieved by doing a simulation using MATLAB simulink with the ZieglerNichols method. This Ziegler-Nichols method is used to determine the value of the gain of Kp, Ki, and Kd here by searching for a transient response whose oscillation is constant and after that the value of the required gain can be determined. The result using this method can produce a Kp strengthening value of 1.015962, the value of the strengthening of 1.871878397, and the value of the Kd strengthening of 0.137853. With this strengthening value, the system response performance is valued at 65.833% for the overshoot value. Using the manual tuning method, the system response performance value is 3.646%.} }
