Electricity is used for various things such as turning on lights, fans, televisions and much more. Electrical energy used by households and industry will be calculated automatically by PT. PLN (Persero) using a measuring instrument, namely the kWh meter. The kWh meter used in PT. PLN (Persero) consists of two types, namely conventional and digital kWh meters. aims to answer people's doubts with the change from initially only conventional kWh meters to digital kWh meters. To answer these doubts the research was carried out by comparing the two kWh meters both in terms of error values or errors in the kWh meter. 0.68%, 0.50% while digital kWh are 0.51%, 0.64% and 0.54%. As for the system used, digital kWh from rupiah is converted to energy while conventional kWh from energy is converted to rupiah so that when 330 kWh of energy is released, it will cost Rp. 500,000 for 4400VA power.
