Inspecting substations usually carries out tests on each of its components, such as testing the insulation resistance of the 20 kV PMT dicubicle. A 20 Kv cubicle is a connection cabinet for electrical equipment units from substations or distribution substations in a closed space that functions to connect, disconnect, distribute and protect installation systems both high voltage and medium voltage. The method used in this study is to collect data by means of interviews and observations in which the authors go down to the field to collect data and interview employees or officers who are accompanying. The results obtained are high resistance values so that the insulation resistance is still suitable for use. The effect of insulation resistance will be bad if there are several factors such as humidity levels, environmental conditions, temperature, dust, water and other disturbances.
