Based on SPLN No. 1 of 1995 the requirements for a good voltage quality are 220 volts for 1 phase and 380 volts for 3 phases or are between + 5% - 10%. The low quality of the voltage will affect the losses that arise in the electricity network. Dropvoltage it self are something that cannot be avoided but can be managed in order to reduce the drop voltage. In facts, there are some feeders which contain a drop voltage which below standard, such as the Barimba 02 feeder at PT PLN UP3 Kuala Kapuas. Before the maneuver, the tip voltage of Barimba Feeder 02 was 17.6 kV and became 18.57 kV or the original drop voltage of 12% decreased to 7%. Likewise, losses that were originally 0.4 MW decreased to 0.09 MW. The maneuver uses ETAP for simulation. Feeder Seberang 07 is used to divert the load from feeder Barimba 02. For Feeder Seberang 07 and 02 drop voltage and losses are still up to standard. Drop voltage before maneuver is 2,3 % and becomes 5,2%.} }
