With the syncronized of Sumsel-8 coal fired power plant which is included in the Southern Sumatra sub-system, there will be a change in the value of electricity from the previous condition. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a power flow study to see how much value of that quantity and which generation is regulated by loading. To solve this problem, a simulation will be carried out using Digsilent to determine value of voltage, flow and amount of active power and reactive power and how much load sharing of other generators. Result of the analysis, it can be seen that when running simulation with 600 MW loading of Sumsel-8 coal-fired power plant, there was a non-noverging condition so that it was tried to change of that power plant to 400 MW loading and successfully converged with the result of varied voltage magnitude. On the other hand, active power between sub-system, there is no change in flow except for SMSLV to NADRI in unregulated condition and the setting condition. For reactive power, changes are quites varied in all condition. For the regulated generation, with inclusion of that coalfired power plant in the Southern Sumatra sub-system is 178 MW.} }
