One of the main components of a power plant is a boiler. The boiler functions to produce steam and the high pressure and temperature required by the steam turbine to drive the generator to produce electricity. In this thesis, calculation and analysis of boiler unit 1 efficiency of PLTU Teluk Sirih include analysis of the results of calculations at the time of commissioning and performance tests, which analysis will be elaborated on the basis of heat loss methods, so that a conclusion can be drawn after comparison. From the results of the calculation of efficiency at the time of commissioning amounted to 85.23% and at the time of the performance test of 83%, meaning that there was a decrease in efficiency of 2.23%. Where the factors that can affect the reduction in efficiency occur in some losses during the performance test, in addition to the element of coal content used as fuel also affects the efficiency of the boiler.} }
