A poor building grounding system will endanger the occupant, visitor and causes a less protection for the installed electrical equipment inside the building. Additive material and optimization the design of electrode is common solution for improving it. This study wants to explore a new method of electrical grounding in the buulding: using the infiltration wells. In most city, the infiltration wells is mandatory facility for building reduce surface water and maintain the quantity of groundwater. Then utilization of infiltration well as the grounding system is investigated. The existing TN-S grounding system using a single electrode rod steel, is measured to determine the total resistance in different time periods. The resistance value using existing grounding system the instrumentation earth tester read value 3 ? and 6 ?, after implemented infiltration well as grounding system the resistance value to be 0.75 ?. The electrode rod with same specifications is planted in an infiltration well, is found that its resistance value is more efficient. Other finding is, with confidence intervals as much as 95% using z-test statistic, it is found that the electricity consumption of the new design is lower than the existing one.} }
