The BESS usage in this study was used as a frequency regulator, before the load shedding scheme on the defense scheme operated and so it can minimized the outage area. After the simulation with ETAP and DiGISLENT obtained a graph that shows that BESS can work as a frequency regulator as evidenced by the defense scheme does not work to perform load shedding schemes. So the outage area can be reduced. So that BESS can be combined with a defense scheme to improve the reliability of the system to deal with disruptions in the plant or Inter Bus Transformer 500kV.} }
