PT A has equipment for temperature measurement with 32 channels, so the only drawback is the current injector. In this regard, a transformer with an output current of 160 Amperes or more is required. PT A has current transformers with two different brands, namely Trafoindo and Bambang Djaja which can be used as current injectors, from which two will be selected which produces specifications according to the criteria. In this study, the function of the current transformer will be converted into a voltage transformer, therefore it is necessary to do research on ac excitation, open circuit, short circuit and 3-phase Yy0 transformer circuits to be able to see their performance. The results showed that the transformer brand trafoindo has a knee point voltage and current of 50 V & 0.076 A, core losses of 5W, winding losses of 56W, power capacity of 346 VA, efficiency of 91.3%, and installed capacity of 32.9% while the Bambang brand djaja has a knee point voltage and current of 103.4 V & 0.1068 A, 5W core losses, 22W winding losses, 710 VA power capacity, 91.7% efficiency and 18.5% installed capacity.} }
