The use of this title is due to a special customer report regarding an overheated transformer. With this report, maintenance is carried out to find out whether the condition of the transformer isolation is still in good condition or not, and the insulation resistance value is obtained before maintenance is carried out. not good and further tests are carried out after maintenance of the insulation resistance value obtained is sufficient to say good. Insulation resistance testing functions to determine the condition of the isolation of the transformer itself. The factors that affect an insulation resistance are moisture, dirt and damage to the transformer components. Then also discussing the breakdown voltage, the goal is to find out the condition of the transformer oil itself which functions as a coolant for the transformer. As for this test, two trials were carried out. In the first experiment, the test was carried out before maintenance.
