		abstract={Procurement activities are always carried out in various agencies, companies, 
institutions and universities. Procurement of goods often experience problems in 
handling the many requests submitted, especially those that are still done manually or 
conventionally. One example is the BSFU at IT-PLN which handles goods 
procurement activities at IT-PLN where the activities are still manual and it is also 
difficult to find the submission data that you want to process so that the procurement 
process will take a relatively long time. To overcome this problem, the researcher will 
create a web-based application so as to make procurement activities organized and 
with the embedded linear search method in data searching, it can alleviate the 
problems faced by BSFU in finding data. With the research entitled, "Implementation 
of the Linear Search Method on Applications for Procurement of Operational Goods 
at BSFU IT-PLN" it is hoped that it can help solve the problems faced by BSFU IT?PLN.}
