		abstract={The increasing use of electrical energy makes electricity supply must maintain the 
quality of sustainable electricity distribution and reduce the possibility of disturbances, 
therefore a reliable system is needed. This study aims to determine the reliability value 
of the distribution network at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Serpong and the causes of 
blackouts. Section Technique is used to find the value of SAIDI (System Averrage 
Interruption Duration Index) and SAIFI (System Averrage Interruption Frequency 
Index). SAIDI and SAIFI stated the reliability value of the distribution. This research 
uses descriptive quantitative methods, conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Serpong 
and uses data for 2021 to find reliability index values. The reference standard for SAIDI 
and SAIFI values is using SPLN No. 68-2 of 1968 with a SAIDI standard of 21 
hours/year and SAIFI 3.2 times/year, also use the IEEE std 1366-2003 standard with a 
SAIDI value of 2.3 hours/year and a SAIFI value of 3.2 times/year. The calculation 
results obtained for GI Serpong are SAIDI values of 2.2249 hours/year and SAIFI 
values of 2.4 times/year. The results obtained are said to be reliable because they are in 
accordance with the standards.}
