East Sumba is one of the districts in NTT Province that has the potential to build PLTS because it has a high solar irradiation 5,54 kwh/m2 and is also supported in terms of a hot climate for 8 months and 4 months rainy season. The off-grid PLTS planning in the Kambata Mapambuhang District Office, East Sumba, was planned based on the power requirements of the office that was used as a research site. Solar energy is very suitable to be used as a source of electrical energy in this office considering that in terms of needs, this office is not yet reached by the PLN electricity network. In this planning, the quantitative method was used because this research was carried out using the counting method. This PLTS planning requires a total cost of RP. 270.972.000 with a load of 30.28 kWh. It requires 14 monocrystalline 445 Wp solar panels, 1 unit inverter with a capacity of 3400 W, Kijo 12 Volt 200 Ah battery with a total of 18 units, 2 unit solar charge controller 300 Vdc 75 A, and 1 combiner box that can accommodate up to 6 strings. NPV Rp. 2.299.628,15, IRR 6,4 % and the Payback Period in this plan is 18 years from the project age of 20 years so that this plan is feasible to implement.} }
