		abstract={Losses or better known as "shrinkage" is a parameter that must be considered by PT PLN
(Persero), because this parameter shows how well the efficiency of a system is. Network
losses at UP3 Pondok Kopi UID Jakarta Raya until February 2022 amounted to 8.73%.
Meanwhile, the target for losses by the end of 2022 is 8.13%. With the loss target not
being achieved at UP3 Pondok Kopi, it is necessary to conduct research to reduce losses,
one of which can be through improving meter reading accuracy by replacing the existing
kWh meter with AMI kWh meter to reduce non-technical losses. In this research, the
existing kWh meter was replaced which still uses a mechanical kWh meter with a Smart
Meter called the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), then continued with a
comparative analysis study of losses before and after the use of the Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMI). The results of this study were that there was a decrease in losses at
the PL-25 substation by 0.19% after replacing the mechanical kWh meter with Advanced
Metering Infrastructure (AMI).}
