In a PLTGU system to improve the performance of a generator, it can be done by using energy and exergy analysis. Exergy analysis uses mass conservation based on Law II of Thermodynamics where the thermodynamic process is not always ideal and there is a decrease in the quality of energy. The exergy analysis method (benefit analysis) is very appropriate to be used to encourage the use of energy resources more effectively because exergy makes it possible to determine the actual location, causes, and magnitude of losses and wastage of a thermal system which is influenced by enthalpy, entropy, temperature, and pressure. In this study, an energy analysis and exergy were carried out on the HRSG to determine the location of loss or heat loss in the components of HRSG (Economizer, Evaporator, Superheater) by comparing two HRSG with load variations. The results show how much heat loss or loss is generated in the sub-components of the HRSG. Energy efficiency and efficiency produced are directly proportional to the load generated by turbine gas. At a load of 134 MW, 213 MW, and 236 MW, respectively, energy efficiency was obtained 72,70% , 75,69% , 76,67% and exergy efficiency 55,33% , 59,25% , 64,10%.} }
