		abstract={Performing office attendance during field work is very difficult for PT.JKI employees and 
will take time when doing fieldwork. In this study the authors plan to create an application 
that can perform attendance by performing facial recognition and location detection of 
employees. This system is a website application that is equipped with a function that can 
face recognition and location detection via a webcam and an installed GPS device. when 
the camera is turned on, the application will be active to take photos and if the GPS is 
turned on then the application will take the location of employees who are not there. For 
face recognition using the Eigenface method and for location detection using GPS 
technology. The results of this study indicate the system designed to successfully perform 
attendance with facial recognition and location detection from webcam and GPS}
