		abstract={Bulukumba Regency is an area with very good agricultural potential. Lettuce is one of 
the plants being developed in Bulukumba Regency. However, since they do not have long 
enough experience, many farmers of hydroponic lettuce in Bulukumba find it difficult to 
accurately identify diseases so that the treatment offered is not optimal either. Therefore, 
an Android application for lettuce plant disease prediction was made using an expert 
system by applying the forward chaining method. Using this application, farmers can be 
helped to know about the diseases that affect lettuce plants. The results obtained after 
conducting the research, that is the accuracy level of the application is 100% the same 
as the information provided by the expert.}
