		abstract={On pipe line motor driven filter PLTU UP Banten 3 Lontar is a loss on the pipe line due to the content of sea water and marine biota. The purpose of this research is to analyze whether the influence of seawater can cause damage to the pipe line motor driven filter in the PLTU will reduce the performance of the motor driven filter, the steps taken are the sampling of materials to be tested with the SEM test method, Hardness test, XRD, and OM. After the research, we can find out the sea water content that causes damage to the pipe line motor driven filter in SEM testing. Can see the surface structure of the pipeline in Metallography testing. Can see the value of violence in testing Violence. With these results can be seen in the calculation of sea water content that causes damage.}
