		abstract={Along with technological advances in all fields, PLN's main power supply is very influential in the supply of electrical energy for public services, both large and small power. However, the main power supply originating from PLN is not always continuous in its distribution. One day there will definitely be a total blackout which can be caused by a disturbance in the generating system, so a back-up is needed to meet the load requirements on the building. A generator is a power generator that is made to help a place or building when the PLN goes out or there is a disturbance and cannot supply electrical power to meet the needs. To meet the demand for electric power, the Stature Jakarta apartment building uses electrical energy that comes from PLN. However, the supply of electrical energy from PLN is not able to continuously provide electrical energy without interruption. So, to anticipate this, it is necessary to have an electrical energy back-up system in the form of a generator set (genset) so that the electrical energy for building needs is maintained. The generator set (genset) works automatically, so that when the PLN electricity goes out, the generator will work immediately. Vice versa, if PLN's electricity returns to normal, the generator will stop working. There for the author takes the title "Study of Genset Capacity as a Backup Power Supply in The Stature Jakarta Apartments".}
