At Banten 3 Lontar power plant, Tri-sector type Water Preheater, Vertical Shaft, Regenerative Ljungstrom, with Pulvurized boiler type. With the Overhoul, the performance of the preheater water is increasing. The better the heat transfer in the air preheater element to the air. Then the better the combustion process that occurs in the boiler. With the Overhoul of the water preheater, it can increase the performance of the water preheater so that the efficiency of the boiler will also increase. It was found that the effectiveness of the APH at a load of 294 MW before overhoul of 0.9285 after overhoul of 0.933, at a load of 236 MW before overhoul of 0.929 and after overhoul increased to 0.937.
