The quality of electric power supply can be seen from the factors of voltage and frequency. In this study, will be discussed the quality of electric power supply of the factors of voltage through the method of kuantitaf and descriptive. On electric power plants use synchronous generators. Synchronous generators are electrical machines which serve to transform mechanical energy into electrical energy. Synchronous Generator in the generating units has an important role in the generation of electrical energy. However, the output voltage of the generator is always changing as the load changes, so that will also cause changes in power generation. So the generation at the generator this requires the excitation system. The excitation system is a system which is used to drain direct current to the generator through the rotor to generate electricity. At PLTU Banten 1 Suralaya used the excitation system static with a brush / brush to evoke currents are used in the strengthening of the generator. The excitation system is very important to maintain the stability of generator output against the load changes. The excitation system including the system of automatic voltage regulation or better known as the AVR. Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is the regulator of automatic voltage to stabilize the output voltage of the generator. If the generator output voltage below the nominal voltage of the generator, then the AVR will enlarge the current reinforcement (excitacy) on eksiter. And also conversely, if the generator output voltage exceeds the nominal voltage of the generator then the AVR will reduce the flow of reinforcement (excitacy) on eksiter. It can be seen from the data and graph the relationship of current excitation with reactive power and generator voltage. The AVR will keep the voltage generator remains stable even though the load changes.} }
