The more construction the more building materials are needed. Due to the increasing need for bricks, soil damage from brick making is increasing as well. Solid brick is chosen as an alternative bricks because the implication more faster than other brick. Lightweight brick is suitable for earthquake prone countries like Indonesia. The new innovation of lightweight concrete blocks is to replace the sand with Styrofoam. It is also useful to reduce anorganic waste. In this study of lightweight brick construction with Styrofoam given the added material of fly ash so that the compressive strength value of this lightweight brick is rising. The variation of this lightweight concrete mix is 0% (normal brick), 10% fly ash, 20% Styrofoam + 10% fly ash, 40% Styrofoam + 10% fly ash and 60% Styrofoam + 10% fly ash with 7 days , 14 days and 28 days age. At the age of 28 days, the largest compressive strength was found in a mixture of 10% fly ash of 135 kg / cm² while the lowest compressive strength value was found in 60% Styrofoam + 10% fly ash mixed variation of 10.42 kg / cm2. Of all the variations of the Styrofoam mixture, only 20% Styrofoam + 10% fly ash meets the quality standard with a value of 36.25 kg / cm² which goes into IV quality} }
