This research is prioritized on the strength amount of the tie beam structure in its capacity to with stand/hold the cross-sectional load (?Mn > Mu), using the manual calculation method. The first step counts the initial design tie beam that is 300x400 mm in size. From the calculation result it is drived that the initial design of tie beam yields Mn = 137,285 kNm Mu ie Mn = 925,174 kNm> Mu = 893,1602 kNm for the support reinforcement and Mn = 925,174 kNm> Mu = 914, 9212 kNm for field reinforcement, so the design is declared the safe design.} }
