Generator damage can lead to disruption in electrical power system. The generator may be damaged by the occurrence of interference such as stator short circuit, overload, overvoltage, and loss of excitation. The protection tools that will be used to protect stator winding are differential relay, stator ground fault relay, and over current relay. After calculation on unit 2 PLTU Banten PT. LBE, the adjustment result is obtained for differential relay which differential current 2,749 A, restraint current 21.074 A, and CT ratio for CT1 and CT2 25000/5 A. For setting the stator ground fault relay, the voltage setting is 5 V with a protected stator winding of 98.74%.
