At PT. PLN the utilization of protection system is absolutely necessary to support the performance of electric power system because as a state electricity company is expected to continuity of electric power system with no interference. In this condition the writer will discuss about distance relay protection analysis where on the transmission system of 150 kV High Voltage Overhead Transmission Line in the Bogor Baru area towards Sentul until the conductor in front of it. Distance relays are used as reserve safeguards for zone 2 and zone 3 where zone 1 is protected by differential relay line. In this research, the calculation analysis of relay distance adjustment which calculation is done manually with parameters to be calculated is the transmission channel impedance value, the setting value of each protection zone and the working time coordination of the distance relay. Adjustment obtained from manual calculation in zone 2 obtained impedance value of 1.0922 ? with a delay time of 0.4 seconds while for zone 3 obtained an impedance value of 1.8391 ? with a delay time of 1.6 seconds. The result of setting the distance relay at Bogor Baru substation has got the ideal impedance value in accordance with the results of manual calculations. With this report that readers to be expected can know the setting of the distance relay in a certain area.} }
