Therefore, in order for the refinery to operate safely, reliably, efficiently, and quality can?t be separated from the use of electrical energy. Electrical energy is used in various parts of oil refineries, ranging from main parts to processing petroleum as well as supporting parts of refineries. So that the power plant system is required to have high reliability to support the refinery can continue to produce. The reliability of an electric system is the probability that the system performs a specified operational and environmental conditions at and throughout a specified time, so it can serve the needs of electric power on the load side. In order to achieve maximum electrical reliability, it requires an evaluation. The reliability level of the power plant is calculated by the value of the LOLP (Loss Of Load Probability) index, EENS (Expected Energy Not Served), and the reliability factor of the plant. The smaller the LOLP and EENS power plant values, the higher the reliability rate the better. Based on the analysis of power reliability index at PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU Cilacap which is supplied by 8 power plants with 84 MW available result that the reliability level of LOLE (Loss Of Load Expectation) power plant in 2017 is 15.75 days / year and EENS is 2291.1 MWh / year.} }
