To maintain the continuity of electrical power supply, a protection tool is needed. Unit auxiliary transformer is one of the important components of unit auxiliary installation in the electrical power plant centre. Unit auxiliary transformer operates as medium voltage feeder for the generation auxiliary tools after the plant unit is loaded, whereas the power is gained from the generator. To support the continuity of electrical power generation system, reliable protection is needed. Therefore, over current relay is needed even more to prevent more damages over the generation auxiliary tools that is caused by failures such as short circuit failure. Methods used in this thesis are literature review, interview and observation, as well as data collection and analysis. The calculation of over current relay setting is 3.971 A, while 5.09 A is the test result.} }
