In this thesis will be evaluated the system of lightning protection (shield wire) on 150 kv substation gandul has been able to protect all the substation equipment from the lightning strike with a rolling sphere methods. And the results obtained in zone B zone D and zone F still have equipment that has not been protected by shield wire system that already exist. While in zone A, zone C, and Zone E the existing lightning protection system (Shieldwire) has been able to provide protection against lightning strikes.} }
