For Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) which uses SF6 isolation like GIS Pantai Indah Kapuk the quality of SF6 gas affects its performance as an insulating medium. The quality of SF6 gas can be seen from the physical condition of the gas namely in the form of Purity , Pressure, Dew Point , Moisture Content , and Product Decomposition. SF6 gas quality needs to be detected to monitor SF6 gas as an isolation medium. Using SF6 Analyzer. The Measurements must compey to CIGRE Standard, IEC 62271 - 203 Standard and IEEE Standard for GIS C37.122-1993 ie Purity> 97%; Dew Point <-5 0C and SO2 content <3 ppmv. The result showed that the quality of SF6 gas at GIS Pantai Indah Kapuk in Busbar Compartment, PMT, PMS, LA and Sealling End SF6 gas quality was still met the Standard. While poor quality SF6 gas was found at in VT Compartment with Moisture Content exceeding Standard and on CT Compartment with SO2 content exceeding Standard. Therefor, Reclamation and Absorbent of VT and CT Compartment are required .} }
