This demands the need for a Formalin Detection Apparatus for food in a fast and easy operation as an indicator of the presence of formaldehyde in foodstuffs. The formalin detection apparatus is designed using a functioning HCHO sensor to detect the formalin content of the object and is supported by the arduino uno microcontroller as the process controller and the readout results are displayed on the LCD display and activating the buzzer as a warning that the object contains formalin. System testing has been done to foodstuffs such as tofu, and noodles. The results showed that Know 38,41 ppm and Noodle 40.24 ppm. Overall the system of formaldehyde detectors works well.} }
