Since 2011, the development of train in Indonesia had used an electric train or commonly called KRL. The use of electric train is now only operated in Jabodetabek. The development of KRL?s system will be planned in near future for other certain regions. The electric train obtained the electricity from electrical traction substation. The electrical traction substation as costumer of PT. PLN (Persero) obtained voltage supply from PLN in 150KV and for the usage, it is lowered to 20kV and supplied the electrical traction substation. As a customer, they have great number of energy consumptions, it is necessary to develop solar power plant, as one of the solution, to reduce the consumption or usage of energy from PLN itself. The utilization of Solar Power Plants can minimize the use of energy from PLN. 500 KW Solar Power Plant will be installed to supply the electrical traction substation. Based on this plan, it will significantly reduce the energy consumption from PLN, which means the operational cost will reduce as well. In order to help government?s campaign of renewable energy utilization, it also can utilize the one of Indonesia?s great renewable energy potential and for instance, it helps to save the current availability of conventional fuel energy.} }
