		abstract={High voltage overhead line functions to transfer electrical energy from plant to the substation, as well as from one substation to another substation. During the electricity transfer, at times there will be some failures on the overhead line. Some of the more frequent ones are short circuit, overload, lightning surge, storm, etc. To deal with said failures, a reliable protective system is needed to avoid the other systems that are still working normally. One type of protection for high voltage overhead line of 150 kV is the distance relay, whereas this distance relay is utilized to protect the high voltage overhead line against failures. This thesis will discuss the analysis of 150 kV high voltage overhead line relay setting in Banda Aceh - Sigli to meet the calculation standards that has been established.}
