		abstract={Kota Bandung terus berkembang menjadi kota yang modern, baik dari segi pembangunan maupun destinasi wisata kota, hal tersebut menarik minat wisatawan lokal maupun dari luar kota untuk datang ke Bandung. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan wisata tersebut, keberadaan hotel inap pun turut bertambah dan menciptakan daya saing yang tinggi. Tren bangunan kontemporer pada hotel kini cenderung lebih disukai masyarakat karena bentuk desain yang biasanya unik, segar, dan berbeda. Namun dalam perkembangan tren arsitektur tersebut tak dapat dipungkiri turut melunturkan adat tradisi daerah sehingga perancang memilih untuk mengangkat konsep kontemporer Sunda. Pemilihan konsep hotel bintang empat ini dipilih berdasarkan lokasi hotel didirikan, Gudangkahuripan, Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung. Pemilihan konsep ini juga merupakan salah satu upaya perancang untuk meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap tradisi berarsitektur Nusantara. Dengan begitu, tercipta lah desain bangunan yang memiliki desain modern mengikuti zaman namun juga tetap selaras dengan bangunan sekitar, baik adat maupun budaya, sehingga desain Hotel dan Resort Bintang Empat Bukit Kahuripan ini pun menjadi hotel yang sarat makna.

In addition to development, tourist destinations continue to grow, attracting the interest of local tourists and tourist from outside the city to come to Bandung. To fulfill the needs of the tour who stay more than a day in Bandung city, it is necessary to accommodate them a facilities of hotels. The existence of the hotel is also increased and create a high competitiveness. Contemporary building trends tend to be more likely to be liked by society. But the development of the trend of architecture is undeniable can also make the regional traditions go extinct, so designer chooses to lift the Sundanese Contemporary concept. The selection of the concept of this four star hotel was chosen based on the location of the hotel was established, Gudangkahuripan area, Lembang, Bandung Regency. The selection of this concept also as one of the efforts of the designer to re-promote the public concern for the architecture of the archipelago. Thus, it can be created building design that has a modern design which follow the time but also still has harmony with the surrounding buildings, both traditional and cultural, so the design of the Bintang Bukit Kahuripan Hotel and Resort also has full of meaning.}
