This is a descriptive qualitative study in which the data were taken from interview, observation and documentation. The techniques of data collection were familiarizing and organizing, coding and reducing, and interpreting and representing. This study found out that the use of technology for teaching and learning English gave several influences and obstacles. On the one side, The influences of technology for teaching and learning English were helping teachers and students to finish their tasks, saving time and energy, creating the better atmosphere, and increasing the students? academic ability. On the other side, there were obstacles that were faced by teachers and students for teaching and learning English, namely the problem to operate the technology, understanding the English material, system disruption, lack of application, and resulting finding. This study showed problem solving to overcome the problems, such as; training and workshop that could help to overcome the difficulties to operate the technology, teachers? guiding, and inviting the motivator to students, preparing tools and asking experts to overcome the tools problem. This study showed that technology could give the influences and the obstacles toward teachers and students for teaching and learning English. Still, this study showed the problem solving to overcome the obstacles.} }
