		abstract={Determination of service rate is an important decision for the hospital. For public hospitals to prioritize the social it is not easy for the public hospitals in determining service rate, one thats need to be determined is room rental rate. RSU Haji Surabaya need also to set the room rate based on goverment regulation and police given by The director of RSU Haji Surabaya. The study objectivity to analyze calculation method that used by Rumah Sakit Umum Haji Surabaya for calculated hospital room lease rate. The research focuses on calculation method that applied by RSU Haji Surabaya. Interview and observation to collected the data. Data analysis be used is descriptive. The result from the research are RSU Haji Surabaya used Double Distribution method to calculated hospital room rental rate for class I, II, VIP, and VVIP class, but for class III based on PERGUB Jawa Timur No 9 Tahun 2010 on Rates of Health Care Public Service Board Regional Hospital East Java province.
